Description
Ipomoea tricolor are a very beautiful and sensually intoxicating entheogen. They were traditionally used in the Mayan time for ceremonial purposes.
They contain the psychedelic compound LSA, which belongs to the lysergamide class of alkaloids. Lysergamides are amides of lysergic acid. The most well-known example of a lysergamide is lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). Lysergamides like LSA and LSD fall under the broader category of alkaloids known as ergolines.
Morning glories are very easy to grow and like to climb up things. Soak the seeds overnight before sowing them and plant about 1/2 inch under the ground during spring. They require little attention, wet soil not soaked and they prefer full sun.
